Goals and Achievements

We are very goal oriented at CFSF. We encourage people to set a few short-range and long-range goals when they begin CrossFitting and it's very rewarding for everyone in our community when a goal is met.

Chris Albert is a long time CFSF member who, over the years, has made impressive progress since beginning his journey with us. One of his goals was to Deadlift twice his body weight. The Deadlift strength standard for men is 1.5 x body weight, so 2x body weight is quite a fete of strength.

It took years of commitment, lots of bloody shins, and a few sore lower backs, but on Wednesday, January 18, Chris reached his goal with a 350 pound Deadlift. Congratulations, and THANKS for the strong fuel you've contributed. 

Be pleased, not satisfied.
