Biblical Foods

1. Watermelon; 
    "The Israelites craved them in the wilderness" Numbers, 11:15
Watermelon contains citrulline that improves circulation and lycopene which helps inflammation.
2. Figs;
    Isaiah 38:21 tells us they healed King Hezekiah's boil.
High in fiber and loaded with polyphenols, research shows that figs can slow tumor growth.


3. Grapes;
Numbers 13:23- those giant grape clusters from the Promised Land.
Grapes contain resveratrol, that strengthens immunity, helps the liver push out toxins, and protects the heart.
4. Apples;
Song of Solomon 2:5- "Refresh me with apples"
Apples contain quercetin, which fights allergies, strengthen the heart, and supports the lungs.

5. Dates;
"The fruit of the palm sustained Mary during Jesus' birth"
Dates are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and essential nutrients like potassium, magnesium, and iron which support digestive health, heart, and bone health, and brain function.

6. Pomegranites;
Song of Solomon- a symbol of beauty and righteousness.
Pomegranites are anti-inflammatory, lower blood pressure, support hormones, and slow tumor growth.

7. Almonds;
Genesis 43:11 refers to almonds as the "best fruits of the land"
Almonds contain vitamin E and healthy fats that can cut the risk of heart attack by 30%, they help regulate blood sugars without statins, improves skin, and helps fight diabetes without synthetic vitamins.
