Could you imagine 'Heavy Randy'? 75 Power snatches at 135 pounds instead of 75 pounds? Well, today wasn't too far off from that, and we had one guy almost go Rx'd. Tough stuff.

135 pound Snatch, 50 reps

Teresa- 65  7:48
Todd- 115  10:16
Paige- 25  4:32
Todd McK- 45  4:45
Juan- 75  5:17
Candice- 35  7:58*
Casey- 95  9:02*
T- 75  5:02
Wesley- 95  4:58
Jeremy- 95  6:45

Great workout everyone! Heavy lift Todd, and super fast finishes Paige, and Todd McK. Very good job going with a Full Snatch Casey, and Candice. The Full Snatch is a more athletic exercise, and the bar distance traveled greater than that of the Power Snatch. However, most Olympic coaches will tell you a Full Snatch is a missed Power Snatch. We won't split hairs unless it's specified, and everyone stays happy.

The cues start the same: Heels, patience, and positioning. The only difference is how far under do you have to pull to make the lift? Good job hitting the targets we set before the wod began.

Monday is a rest day. Use your extra time wisely and do something that feels good and helps you recover. ICE anything sore, and camp out on anything gnarly. It's your business- take good care of it. You'll be happy you did.

Thanks for another great day at CFSF.

"Man often becomes what he sees himself to be. If I keep saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning."
