Friday, July 22 'WBS/snatch'

This session debuted at a regional qualifier for The Games. It was capped at twenty minutes. Needless to say this was a mother grabber. Seriously, when everyone agrees that the WBS were the easy part of the workout, we're in trouble...

Three rounds:
30 wall ball shots 20/16
75 pound snatch, 30 reps

Eric- 75  10 snatches, third round
Scott- 65  24 WBS, third round
Brandi- 35  30 WBS, third round
Tammy- 45  2 rounds
Teresa- 45  15 snatches, second round
Dan- 65  30 WBS, second round
T- Rx  29 snatches, second round

This was a potent session. Great job on taking this one on. Even though both of these exercises are full body, hips got pounded. Huge hip contribution, especially on the snatch. Olympic lifts for reps can be brutal as fatigue sets in.

However tough, this was a great session. The combination of exercises, the number of reps, everything tied in perfectly to drop us in twenty. I think the snatch is the culprit. Serious gas. But then again, that's why we do it.
