So this guys asks me about CrossFit and I begin explaining how things work, we talk more and  I ask him what his 1RM was for a deadlift. He thought for a moment and replied, "Deadlift... Do you do that with cables?" He said he went to the gym all the time and never saw anyone doing that.
We love deadlifts at CFSF. Love to see them and love to do them. We do them well too.

Great workout everyone! Monster lifts Brad, Cliff, and Tammy. You are all super strong! Also, everyone's form was dialed in. From set-up, first pull, top, and back down- all good. THANKS for the hard work hitting all those cues.

We deadlift because it is functional. We also deadlift because it packs a heavy hormonal punch. Because it lets people lift heavy relative to their level of strength. Once form is locked on, most people like lifting heavy, and the deadlift lets them do that.

Friday is a rest day. You have extra time. Use it wisely. Do something that feels good and helps you recover. Stretch, massage, pain ball... ANYTHING! Just do it.
