As Memorial Day approaches I am reminded of one of the kindest gestures CFSF has ever received. We have many Special Friends that have come through our doors but a few guys stand out.

We have always maintained that CFSF is there to get messy, dirty, chalky, and very wet with dripping athletes. The harder we work, the messier it gets. That’s the idea and we are ok with that.

After a particularly tough Memorial Day workout, we showed up the next day to clean up the huge mess that was left only to find that the gym had been cleaned, vacuumed, and mopped. Bars, DB’s, med balls all cleaned and neatly stacked. Rubber bumper plates included.

That small gesture not only gave us our vacation day back but reinforced how special these guys are. They have all rotated back to their normal lives somewhere but I’d like to think that maybe one or two keep up with this blog and know how much that meant. Thank you.
