The community is the biggest difference between the "Globo Gym" and CrossFit. Our community is the best. We expect more of ourselves and the people around us, this makes us strong and gives us a common goal, a bond. A struggle faced together with the sole purpose of making us better, stronger, and faster. It also translates into friendships that exist outside the "box" and that is a good thing.

What we do is functional. What they do now looks funny to me. Maxing out on tricep extensions.....?  What we do is also fun. Don't get me wrong, exercise of any sort can be fun. But what we do is exceptionally fun. So fun that sometimes it can become terrifying. That's another difference that I love.

CrossFit has made a real difference in the lives of many people. Now CrossFit is going to make a real difference in the lives of people that really need help, with Project Hope. That might just be the most special difference.

The thing is we don't have mirrors.... or a hot tub, or very many comfortable places to sit. We work. We work hard. Thanks for all that hard work everyone. Thanks for choosing CFSF instead of the "Globo Gym". Thanks for making a difference.
